It is the only colonial style meal without franchise rights in the area. This means they are busy most of the time. The locals are quaint and simple, but they tend to get nervous if you dress in civil man's cloths. The food is greasy. Social decorum, and practical vocabulary will confuse people. Just smile and tell them they did good.

I was impressed! Food is definitely home made...roasted steak sandwhich was awesome. And the cocktails are great! Waitress very nice too. They really aim to please. Will return..😊

Would not eat here again if they paid me. I and my parents came in a month ago on Sunday at about 1:00pm. We found nothing to order because of the weird times you have between lunch and breakfast. The waitress was rude and said she could try and get us breakfast. When the food arrived the hash browns tasted like rancid grease the sausage tasted like it had sat in a warmer all morning. Some churches get out later than others, you need to review your time schedule. I live here in Junction City and would not recommend the Viking to anyone. Sunday morning is not a time for a sports bar atmosphere. Our dining experience was loud and rude with bad food. So tell me why would I ever come back.

Surprisingly really good. The remodel is still blowing my mind both the increase in food quality and aesthetics. Basic breakfast is good and a good place to grab a beer early in the night. The bacon os one of the best I have had in a small restaurant in while.

I have been there 3 times and each time I had the same breakfast. It was good, better than most. It has a new, comfortable, attractive and clean interior. Friendly service.
